Recently someone my age wrote that she was “late middle age” and it really made me pause. I’m about to turn 54 - am I really “late middle age” already????
To be fair my other half has been calling this middle aged middle of the road music pretty much since the day we met, and we've been together nearly 20 years, so if the average life span is somewhere around late 70's or early 80's then perhaps this means it's actually now "post middle age"?
